  1. Thanks so much Dr OB and Dr Priscilla for throwing more light to most of us who are upcoming optometrist…This was indeed a real time eye opener. God bless eyefricamedia.

    One thing I’d want to talk about is about internship here in Ghana. 1st year and 2nd year Optometry students are not allowed to intern until 3rd year .I am in my 2nd Year and I really wanted to have a Hand on experience in the Optometry career but unfortunately letters were not given out for us to submit to the respective hospitals individuals would want to work with .
    It is mostly those who are acquainted to individuals in the eye care who obviously get the opportunity to intern because a family or friend would help them out . But for individuals like myself who do not have any family member in the health care industry do not get the chance to intern till 3rd year. This is something I am not happy about and I am so much worried about .
